Painted fins.

I painted the fins with a small roller and flat black BBQ paint. I think it looks a lot better, making the cylinder look larger and eliminating the "cheap" look of the stock fin treatment.

The Corbin seat and forward controls look great. How well do they function? Do you get the dreaded pain in Coccyx with that seat and forward controls or does the seat remedy it.

That is what I want to do to my bike. Please let us know. That is a good question.

BTW, I like the look of the fins too. Great job!

The seat is very comfy. After about 1000 mi it molds itself to you posterior. I can drive for two tanks worth (220 miles) before I have to stretch. The forward controls are great as well. I have a little arthritis in my hips so it was a bit difficult to haul my feet up to the pegs in their stock location. Very easy now.

I know I asked you before but this will seal the deal. Have to wait for Routy to restock the forward controls. Thanks Art!

Art, I know this is not on topic with your fins but do you have a shot of the bike from the back or the side. I want to see the clearance of the forward controls from the engine guard. I have a 9.5 shoe size. And while your at it, twirl for me. JK!

Thanks I appreciate it if you could do it.

Webhead: will these do?
I have size11 1/2 boots and they never touch the engine guard.

What is the model number of that Talisman bag set, do you remember?
Did you have to do anything to the signal lights?

Did you just clean it up and spray or was there a lot of sanding and prepping involved?
