Even though I left that job 21 years ago I still have unpleasant dreams about it once a month or so.

Weirdest dream I ever had, I woke up (in the dream) in a house that I lived in a few years ago. I knew that I did not live there anymore and that I should not be there, it was then that I realized that I was dreaming. I looked down and counted my fingers as a way to gain control of the dream. This is a technique I have known about for years but never have been able to accomplish. After gaining control of the dream I walked outside and looked back at the house then someone called out my name and I woke up.
Gaining control of your dreams is possible, being able to consciously hold your hand up and count your fingers is one method, once you can do that you can do anything within the dream.
