Backfire:
Can get little shift pops if the engine is still warming up and I'm not using the choke. Get a fart on shutdown about 80% of the time.
Gas Mileage:
56.5 mpg - 98 % urban riding
Smooth accel:
Yes, runs great!
Spark plug color:
I only check it about every 4500 miles or so...and the color must be normal, or I'd have taken note of it!
