Hi all -- I'm back!
Back from what? The BMW national rally in Bloomsburg PA.
Mrs Doc and I flew to the DC area. As planned, my son in law and I rode to the rally, while the women and children took the mini-van. Fortunately, we had evaporative vests, 'cause it was seriously HOT!

That's me with the bikes -- I rode my daughter's Buell Blast. At least I was on a thumper, but the ride up involved a mix of interstate and some 4-lane highway. I missed my Savage. The engine is smoother at highway speeds. Still, the scenery along the Susquehenna River is gorgeous, and we arrived in decent time, having stopped in Emmitsburg MD for barbeque.

Bloomsburg University rented out dorm suites for the rally -- we had the middle 6 bed unit. It was basic, but with hundred degree days, we appreciated the air conditioning!

We split riding and kid time. Here's our daughter and spouse getting ready to spend the day hitting the twisties.

We took the kiddos to the rally site and took part in the children's activities -- at least the t-shirt tie dying!
