A beer drinking buddy said to him 20 someodd years ago that he could change the rear tire for him. Must've ran out of beer and I guess he couldn't milk it for another day.

I got a bud at work that got bit by the 350-500-650-750 bug and he has bought and partially restored one of each.

Sold the 350 at a very good profit.

Sold the 500 at break even (too many parts needed for that one)

Sold the 750 at a profit before he even finished working on it.

Kept the 650 -- as Goldielocks said in the fairy tale -- "it was just right".

I was surprised at the amount of newly mgf'd aftermarket parts that are now available for the scoots -- you can buy old or new (expensive though).
