Routy, so far we have never had a Raptor equipped bike go up in flames.
(Heck, so far we have never had a vac petcock equipped bike go up in flames either)
So far we have not had a Raptor fuel in sump incident either.
We have had 6-7 vac petcock fuel in sump incidents so far (depending on who's counting, but Serrobot can tell you all about his fuel in airbox on ground and in sump episodes if you ask him nice)
We have had
two reported incidences of people tearing up an engine at the same time their vac petcocks were mysteriously acting up. (fact)
And we have one known incident of someone getting into a wreck while frantically fiddling with a vac petcock trying desperately to get some gas into his carburetor to get his scoot going again. (fact)
And we have had actually one incident where both things were happening at about the same time. (fact, but let's not get into double dipping the numbers any, because they really don't need it)

SO, PLEASE DO please tell me again about bike safety again and how we should all be safe and encourage each other to be safe.
Based on the numbers above, I would think we would all be interested in removing any known dangerous components that we can reliably identify and numerically quantify as being potentially dangerous.
Oh, but that's just me being PP all over again -- or "rabid slavering Ford F250 coming up behind me" phobic as the case may be.
Shoot, I'll be all afraid of big trucks all next week, even them nice calm Chevys and sedate Dodges.
.... but I won't be afeared of my deadly viper "vacsucker" petcock any at all, mainly 'cause I ain't got me one no more !!!
