Raising the rear, and not doing anything to the front.. is actually a slight improvement in handing...
Gives you a little less chopper/rake,.. and puts a little more of the weight distribution to the light front end... both good...
The difference is small, and hardly noticeable, but if anything, positive...
Mostly, you are getting a more comfortable ride, and better rear end traction on rough surface roads...

I did recently add about 1/4" spacer to the front fork springs,... it very subtly firmed the forks. reducing some dive, and making minute squirlys in the road less noticeable...
It was booger to squish the springs back down the tube by myself though... easier if you had two people...
