Sold the Savage

The mini-bagger/cafe/bobber was sold today. I got $1200 for it. I probably had about 2k into it. I'm very happy to get that much back. You don't build a bike like that to recoup your money.
The new owner is kind of an outlaw biker type who rides a Harley Dyna with ape-hangers etc... I got to ride it while he rode the Savage. He really likes the Savage. He bought it for a little bike to scoot around town on. I'm really pleased to see it going to someone who really appreciates it.
So the little bike goes away, the S50 becomes the little bike, and the Triumph is the big bike. I'll still be hanging out here though.

Right on. It's always good to find a buyer. My dad's last vehicle sale took him a good year and a half. I guess not a whole lot of people want to buy a '67 Ranchero for a price close to what it's actually worth.
See ya around.

Agree with Boule'... yours was always one of my favorite Savages. I hope the buyer takes good care of it.
