A little late, but:
I hope you all had a better Thanksgiving than the turkeys (breeding stock excepted). Not to brag too much, but I definitely did!
Flew out to SoCal on Thanksgiving Day itself, arriving just in time to hop into the rental car and go to my brother's for turkey with the family -- my mom & son, brother, sister-in-law, two out of three nieces and some other extended family and friends of the hosting couple. Then Mrs Doc and I split up -- she took the rental car to her sister's, and I drove my mom back to Ventura in her car.
Friday after Thanksgiving I spent bonding with my youngest brother using mechanics tools, a hydraulic lift and other manly instruments. Swapped the stock monoshock on the Triumph Thunderbird for a Hagon. Since the old shock made it's own oily puddle on the garage floor, I think it was a good call.

Of course, with the new shock, I had to check it out, make sure the preload was set properly...

Since a good ride deserves an espresso...

Meanwhile, Mrs Doc was meeting with her mom and her mom's docs and the diabetes support staff. Amazingly, several problems were actually resolved, and mom-in-law's diabetes control was improved. Along with that, so did her general outlook on life.
Still, Mrs Doc had to pick me up from my mom's, so she got a chance to check out the new shock from the pillion position:

So... Much to be thankful for, and I hope all of you had an equally excellent Thanksgiving!
