Too busy to mess with the computer very much. Unexpected bumper crop of fertilizer/pesticide free heirloom pecans. Have 400 or so pounds in the back of the C-10 to run through the cracker, sheller and picking table. And then bag.
12 trees down, only 188 to go this year... out of 400+ still in our possession...
Anybody want to come help? We have a hot tub...

Would be doing me great if I didn't also have a town job. And if it wasn't snowing (and sticking)... Snow in Dixie???
And I don't eat pecans. Except from this farm. I've seen how conventional agriculture handles them (and most store pecans have been in cold storage for 3-5 years before you buy them).
Taking orders... $7/lb, vacuum packed and ready to eat.

Sorry you're getting swamped, but you got to admit it's a nice problem to have...too much work, and a worthy endeavor as well. I'd also be interested in total cost shipped to Mo. Pecan pie sure looks good on a Christmas table!

Cost depends on how many pounds you want and how many I can fit in USPS Priority flat rate boxes.
Pretty sure the rate is the same anywhere stateside. The $10 box holds about 3 pounds of bagged pecans, I think.
E-mails please, my pm's are fubar right now.

Glad to hear from you my friend and that things are going well for you since your move from the Left Coast. I sure would love to be able to visit you on your farm ... it'd be just what the doctor ordered to diffuse my chronic stress/blood pressure situation ... but here the economy is fricken booming and in my 30+ years in the work force, I've never seen it so crazy ... only have been able to take 4 days of vacation time in the past 12 months ...

Supposed to snow again. After we get 3 days or so of torrential rain. And work is trying to get me to go to New England for a week and train a couple temps.
Going to try and get at least 6-10 trees shook and picked up under tomorrow. If you've never seen it rain pecans...
