I officially " LIGHTED " this past Friday.
It's good to be home again.
I've just been laying around and resting...traveling is tiring.

Jimmer, I used '83 GS wheels but don't remember the specific model.
I did need to use matching brake calipers, disc, and fork set including triple trees.
The head bearings were the same and the front disc pads are the same as stock.
The Ls650 rear brake assembly fits the GS rear wheel hub perfectly. The GS rear wheel for that year and model was a 16" so I found a set of Metzler 880's for a HD Sporty for it which has 19" on the front and 16" pn the rear. It took 100+ psi to get the tire to fully seat on the rim when installed but a benefit is that I could run it without air air and the thing would not come off and would support the weight to ride to a decent stopping place for repair/replacement, and it is a tubeless tire too.
