Getting rid of unwanted links in the text. (Read 44 times)

arteacher Serious Thumper Offline Ride as if your naked and invisable! Posts: 2581 London ontario Gender:	Getting rid of unwanted links in the text. 01/07/12 at 16:21:14 I have noticed that individual words get turned into links in the text on this and other sites I visit. How do I get rid of this?

Reply #2 - 01/07/12 at 16:27:47 Some of the other sites have it as an add on in the forum software. can't get rid of this yourself. but ss.com doesn't have this. so you need to look at add on's you have.

Reply #3 - 01/07/12 at 16:32:15 Look at the last page of the wheatbelly post. On my screen the word "heart" in Serobot's post is in red. and the word "close" in my origional post. These have become links to stuff that I have no interest in and a window opens if I pass my mouse over them.

Sounds like you have an add on you intentionally or unintentionally installed.. I use Firefox browser and don't have this problem at all...
