Freak pre-spring in NC next few days

Highs hitting at 70 degrees in NC for the next 3 days --- I'm gonna be riding some !!!
Have I ever said how much I like living in NC? Mountains and coast-line all within a 4-5 hour drive, with moderate temperature weather and good annual rainfall, with trees and scenery and roads that are arguably in the top 2-3 in the nation?
I love NC !!!

I know exactly what you mean. I think the same way about beautiful eastern Tennessee. And as an added bonus, Tennessee has no state income tax!

The temps were definitely a nice change of pace here in central NC, but it's been raining all three days here in Raleigh.
I'll have to get out riding with you one of these days seeing as how I'm an hour away from ya. Sure there's a ton of stuff around here you could show me. I've only been a North Carolinian for a few years, so I'm still pretty green to the sights and all.

I wouldn't necessarily need warmer weather, I'd just be happy if we weren't getting predictions of 1" of rain a day almost every day around here!

Umm, Pacific NW, right? ... Isn't that what's expected?

I took the new Mrs. for a ride around the lake today.
It was a beautiful day for a ride.
Stopped for some Mexi-food along the way.
It was a good way to start our first week together.
YEP.

Yeah, it's more or less typical.

You guys all piss me off (j/k) Here in SE Wisconsin, the bike is in the garage for the next 3-3 1/2 months. I haven't seen much more than 40 for about a month already. Rain, snow, cold a$$ wind....you name it. Not good riding weather. Ah well, I still have a flat front tire and an oil leak to deal with anyways. And I sure wouldn't want to be in Alabama right now. Might be warm, but I don't want to see my bike flying through the air in some dam tornado either.

Some optimistic buttercups have bloomed here in North Miss. I made a 70 mile run roday in full sun and 61 degrees. Rode with my 82 yr old friend and his Magna. At our coming home departure point he pulled up and said, "That little 650 will scoot." I had to let it out after a stop sign on the entrance to a 4-lane. Drums, what's the status on the "Titanic"? Still ripped open or plugged enough to ride? Hope you get good riding soon.
