Answer 1: Aluminum wire mesh I found at work... Man, i must have 40 pin holes in my fingers from that.

Answer 2: Right now it is a great cup holder... But i plan on putting a panel with switches. Removing some of the switches from the bars and etc...

Answer 3: My dad bought it in 2004, he died in 2008. That is when i got it. Was in storage for almost 3 years. Just started fixing it up and riding it around June last year. So It had has almost everything new on it.

It goes in for paint in the next week or so. Thinking Gloss black, Silver stripes, glitter flake (in the clear coat) & the Raiders emblems on the sides of the tank.

Reply #8 - 06/12/12 at 17:24:12 Wanted to do something a little different with the speedo hole. Where the turn & bright signal is im going to put 2 toggles and push button. The gauge in there now is not the one that will stay. I want a Dual gauge Oil pressure & voltage.

Thanks for the good job... You only need 1 mirror on right or left side/tail light/headlight/brake light/High-beam (not indicator). Turn signals (if on the bike they must work) to pass the SAFETY inspection. Just took the class 2 months ago. DOT Regulations. aka..(the police) may require an indicator, but not for the inspection.

Hmmm, no one has asked what the 2 knobs marked 7 1/2 & 20 are for...
7.5amp fuse for lighter, 20amp for the starter.
