I was waiting for some off colour comments. An Italian hoe is a gardening implement that looks like an adze with a long handle. The head is cast, not stamped like regular hoes, is heavy, and quite sharp. It goes through tree roots easily. BTW Italian hoes are more expensive than regular hoes.
