OH all right... I was waiting for some off colour comments. An Italian hoe is a gardening implement that looks like an adze with a long handle. The head is cast, not stamped like regular hoes, is heavy, and quite sharp. It goes through tree roots easily.
BTW Italian hoes are more expensive than regular hoes.

Art, down south they are called grubbing hoes, doesn't sound quite as nice. I have my granddaddy's, not telling what that hoe has grubbed.

Check the serial number
, it's stamped on the collar, under the blade :
- if it starts with "G..." it's Gucci
- if it starts with "A..." it's Armani
- if it starts with anything else it's yourmoney...

Woe be to me... :'( I'm still using an American , flat-bottomed hoe. Nothing fancy and quite plain, but with a tight budget, that's all I can afford.

My only problem with Italian women is that they end up like Polish women.
They start off like this...
I can't post this picture because I'm at work. Type "young polish women" into google. Do an Image search.
and they end up like this...
