Reading through that seems like it would be fine... Here's the one section that talks about it:

(5) The stop lamps shall not be combined with turn signal lamps unless arrangement of switches or other parts are such that the stop lamp is extinguished when the turn signal is in use.

and

(6) Check the lamps and lenses and reject if one or more of the following apply:

(iii) The turn signal lamps do not properly indicate right or left when so switched.

If not, use shorter spacers or install a longer bump stop on the shocks. I don't know how to do that but I read it was possible. As far as clearance goes, I am a man-sized man. I bottom out the rear shocks on occasion. I haven't scraped the tire yet.

I used the 1inch spacers & wallered out the holes (in the fender) to keep the bolts from binding. Sure beats having to lower the bike. Thank you so much for inspiring & sharing with me....

Awesome! I didn't think i could elongate the holes enough for the whole 1". Guess I was wrong! Roll Eyes

I attached a fork bag to the spacers to hide the ugly. Works for me!
