Just got my new tires today via UPS, and noticed as the truck was leaving that ChaparralMotorSports sent me a 100/90-18 for the front. Rechecked my order and it's their mistake, not mine, altho I will now have to do the gruntwork and drive 40 miles to the UPS store. I wish I could express my personal gratitude to the shipping pod they hired. Maybe I'll just drape the tire around me ring-toss style and ride in.

Rear tire should be OK at 140/90-15. They are both Kenda.

Update: ChaparralMotorSports just called and said they would send a return shipping label, but won't ship a new tire until they received the old one. They did offer an alternative where I can buy yet another 3rd tire, and it will be shipped immediately, then they will credit my PayPal when they receive the old one. Even tho the Co forked up, they have pretty good deals on tires and 2 day free ship, so I would likely buy from them again.

After looking more closely, I kinda think I know what happened... the original Kenda sticker matches the sidewall 100/90-18, but Chaparral mislabeled it with their own 100/90-19 stocking sticker. Oh well, don't matter - still their fault.

Good idea. I think my beemer front wheel is the worst ever. It has a huge disk rotor on each side that barely allow your fingers to get inside to the valve. Just trying to get the nozzle on the valve causes so much hissing it empties about half the tire pressure Grin

Interestingly, the GS has spoked tubeless tires!

Saw on a bulletin board once...

Lost, a bicycle by a woman, with a few spokes missing.
