+1 on the full face helmet.
As disturbing as the news story may be, what I find even more disturbing are the first two comments posted below the story. Both are quick to correct the reporter that the lady was on a Harley, and not the Honda pictured. I guess they thought the reporter was adding insult to injury.

Here's one of the funniest situations I've seen. A home run ball bounces off the top of a cyclist's head while riding behind left field. The ball bounces into the brush and there is absolutely no one around, leaving the cyclist to wonder what the heck just happened???

+1 to the full face, nice in the rain too.
I get a laugh sometimes about riders and the leather pants and stuff and claim its a safety thing and wear an egg shell helmet.
