Posts: 19 Leesburg, Florida Gender:	1986 Savage Jetting issues 07/28/12 at 12:18:37 Hey Folks, Just bought a 1986 Savage....The carb was immediately an issue...Boiled it out but weird jetting...157.5 on the main and 47.5 on the pilot....Looks like a Jardine slip-on muffler. I plan on running a pod air filter....Please help with any jetting suggestions to start from scratch....Thanks

They probably adjusted the needle clip too... Put in yer' pod and see how it runs...

I recently removed the air box and added the pod. I put in 150 main and and 52.5? pilot. It runs really good. I did notice a pop in the exhaust on certain rpms during shifting. That does not bother me to much but, would like to hear more about your experience so far.
