The difference is especially striking when you look at the before and after!
On a more serious note, you could lower and shrink it a tad more (visually) by changing the orange screen to a dark tint. The orange makes it look slightly top-heavy or top-emphasized or something. The fairing no longer needs an intervention, though. I'd probably wait until the orange one gets scratched and cloudy, then try a darker one later.

You had that custom made, right? Not really my cup o' tea, but if you're happy with it, I think its fabulous! To me, the orange takes away from the beautiful bike itself, but it is interesting.
How much trouble was it to put on? ...and how different does it feel riding?

I did too.....until I got my Savage. The one-lunger handles so darn good and runs so hard I don't really care anymore. And that's coming from an old Trumpet/Beezer rider form the old days!

Not really my thing either, but you did manage to pull it off pretty good with all the work you did. Great Job

I love a Triumph for the same reason I love my Savage...they look good sitting still. Mufflers don't overwhelm and side cover bolts contrast for a "means business" look. Just enough chrome to set it off. Fixed the way you want it. Good looking ride. Take care of her.
