New tech everywhere --- read about the little engines with micro fluted cylinder walls to reduce ring/piston sliding friction and lookitthemdurn aluminium low weight roller cam systems (sweet).

If you look at all 61 pics of the two engines, there is a lot of ground braking technology there, like offset pistons for example.

The world, she is a changin' .....
(I'd wait a year or so until they shake out all the bugs and then buy one used/wrecked and then turn it into a low weight low center of gravity bobber/stripper jest to show off all them purty pieces)
Offset pistons aren't new, in full bore factory race bikes anyway. They figured out it years and years ago -- but now it has made it to production.
Check the 1985 date out on that patent for the technology -- they doped this stuff out a LONG time ago.

Yeah, they did that offset piston so there is no side load on the piston on the power stroke. It is offset to the side so on the power stroke the piston just floats straight down the bore, not seeing any slap force at all. There was a 15% friction loss that was avoided by doing that.
They are building 3 different bikes on that same lower chassis, one is a scooter, one is a standard and one is a naked sportsbike. 700 cc twin, fires like a hurley so it has a rumble to it, counter balanced so it has no vibration to go along with the rumble.
77 mpg claimed so far, hp power hasn't been claimed yet but will likely run around 75 hp, all but one bike has an double clutch "automatic" transmission and the "sports bike" version fakes in a manual shifter so it will "feel right" to the crotch rocket guys.
