Saying nice things. But...then they found out it wasn't a Harley! Then all they could say was "I thought it was a Harley". I think I will take that as an insult!

Who cares what others think ? I have 3 LS650's and a sporty because I like the bikes. When anyone riding another bike makes negative remarks about mine I just ignore them; they are not a true motorcycle enthusiast, just a small minded person.

My post was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. I call my bike many things including scooter and POS. They are loving terms. If the bikers from the '70s can call 'em scoots and scooters, by golly, so can I. Wink

The people weren't being mean, they just think every cruiser bike with a loud exhaust is a Harley. And speaking of names, we (my "inner circle") use the term scooter trash affectionately as well. When my buddy got his HD, I stopped at DQ and picked up an ice cream cake that read "Got Scooter Trash?". Grin

Yeah people seem to like my Buell Blast bobber 'til they find out it's not a Buell.I've ridden with and talk to club guys,even not being a Harley they appreciate the work that went into it.So take your midlife crisis Harley and go PLAY biker somewhere else if you don't like what I ride Tongue

.I tell'em I've got less in my bobber than you do in the taxes on your bike.
