Wow, so hipsters even existed back then.

Not long after I started riding again, in 05, & had decided I was ready for city traffic, I was rolling along, S.bound on a major road, crossing the loop, 1/2 block from the mall in Tyler. Some woman decided she could exit the loop, merge with the road I was on & completely DISregard the YIELD sign, which put Her in MY lane. There really wasnt room for bofuss, so, I hadda leave,, & daggum fast. I cranked the bars right, the bike fell left, I goosed it & slammed them back left, effectively hopping sideways about 8 feet.. Those bars on that bike? Theyda been scrapin me off the road..

I never cease to amazed by people's ideas of what they think is cool and custom (and yes, I've even been to Sturgis!).  Perhaps this guy is a plumber by trade???  Or a Big Horn Ram hunter?   Bizarre, really bizarre!

Haha JOG, listening to your stories on here would make me seriously reconsider motorcycle riding, and take up a pastime with better odds; like freelance rock climbing or base jumping.
