indicator options with the stock brackets?
11/10/12 at 04:54:03
One of my indicators is broken and the stock indicators are pretty rubbish and expensive to boot.
I have stubbled across a photo of someone's bike with stock brackets but some other indicators attached (can't find it now
) - how is this done? I had a look at the brackets and the overkill way these things are designed doesn't make it easy to use aftermarket indicators.
Basically the hole in the stock brackets is very large - I thought of welding a washer over the existing hole but this doesn't get me out of the woods as there is a deep channel on the inside of the bracket that prevents you being able to tighten a nut properly to secure the new indicators.
Anyone got a solution to this besides just drilling another hole?
Another hole is the simple way out but using the existing one would be more elegant.
