There's no ignition, that I can see anyway. It is strange tho, because if it had the compression required for deese, you'd think it would be hard to turn over.

I had seen this before and I thought it was compressed air powering it.
Not sure it actually combusts.

I wondered how he planned on running it since he geared the camshaft 1:1 with the crank. It wouldn't run on its own even if he had fuel and spark. It's run on compressed air. Too bad.

Yep, I agree.....compressed air. The pistons are pushed down on each stroke by the compressed air and exhaust on each up stroke. That is why the cams are geared 1:1.
The maching skill is incredible.....I have trouble getting 2 holes to line up very well when I get my drill out!

I've built a couple model steam engines from store bought castings and am totally amazed at the skill this guy has. Even if it is a compressed air engine it is just beautiful, I'm in total aw.
