I think we'll look more like Germany than France. There is still a very strong work ethic in the US that while under attack, will take a while to beat out of everyone.

We'll still be in the top 3 economic-wise, but freedoms will continue to slip away. Now that the healthcare thing is out of the tube, I'm not sure how it can get put back in. The expansion of government and the subsequent feminization (only polite word I can think of that means wussy) of American will continue. The way this gun debate is going is a perfect illustration.  

Our influence in the world will lessen and eventually, there will be horrible consequences to pay because of it. I don’t see any circumstances where my future grandchildren will have the opportunities I had. I was never a huge fan or Romney (no conservative was), but he was at least a way to slow this downward spiral a little.

Society as we know it will collapse unless some laws are changed quickly. In the last 20 years the top 1% are the only ones who have really profited from the capitolistic system we have in place now. Websters right concerning the goverment cant afford to keep us all up but the cappitolistic system he so stongly believes in has failed miserably. I never thought I would live to see states wanting to withdraw from the Union. Enough people go hungry and homeless there will be a revolution. Something is really wrong with this country when that dickhead in Vegas complains publicly it is costing too much to buy a politician.

According to the Paragould Daily Press, Paragould Mayor Mike Gaskill and Police Chief Todd Stovall told about 40 residents attending a town hall meeting recently that because of a recent spike in crime, they were essentially militarizing the city.
Did anyone actually read that? Cant walk my dog in this city without being stopped by a goon in a black suit carrying an AR15? Militarizing the city, I think that qualifies for a tyranical goverment.   No law enforcement agency should have the right to stop me from walking down the steet minding my own business unless there is probable cause.

I cant believe the progressives cant see where we are & see their role in it, we have "progressed" to an immoral society & are suffering for it.
