My wife, after having seen the movie "Flight" at the theatre, bought it....I watched it tonight with her. Myself, with 10 years of sobriety can tell you Denzel Washington has done a fantastic job in relaying what/how a person saddled with such, behaves...
I found myself getting quite mad at him, yet, when I was under its influence, I wanted sympathy and blamed "circumstance" for "making" me drink, HA, what a piece I was!
Not a day passes that I don't thank the powers (my God) for freeing me from its death grip.
I doubt it will win much accord in the industry for the mirror shows too much, and Lord knows I couldn't turn the channel on the TV quick enough when a Schick (or other rehab facility)  commercial came on, so I should not cast stones.
If you get the chance, see it, some pretty graphic nudity at the start, but the ending restores much.
