About fifteen years ago there was this black women who was the mother of a girl in my daughters pre K class. She thought I was racist, based on the fact I didn't like her. Now if she had half a brain cell she could have figured out that since the teacher was black and I worked in the classroom at least once a week.  One day she walks up to me and asks, "What are you going to do if your daughter grows up and marries a black man" I looked her right in the eye and asked, "Is he beating on her" she says NO. To which I replied, "Then why would I care."
