That would be where something might drop if'n he was taking the carb apart while it was still attached to the jug. (The jug is the upright long cylinder thingy as opposed to the starter which is the horizontal long circular thingy).

To get something out from under the starter,... just get a stiff piece of paper, and slide it under one side... it will push it out the other side... ...
