I'm pretty sure Zimmerman was on the phone with a 911 dispacher not an actual policeman anyhow. A telephone operator basically - they can't ORDER anyone to do anything.

And according to Zimmerman when the dispatcher said "we don't need you to follow him - or something to that effect - Zimmerman said OK, and was walking back to his car.

I just wish it had never happened. If Zimmerman gets off Rev. Al, Jesse Jackson. will start riots and encourage blacks to shoot white people. Its OK and encouraged for them to be racist. The last thing we need is another race war. With Obama being a Muslim we've had enough racist crap. The last thing we need is being mowed down by black people.

How do you figure? Zimmerman stated you have my cell have them call me and I will tell them where I am. He told the dispatcher where his truck was, if he was going back to his truck why would they need to call him?

Best to avoid ANY city for the next few days... if Zimmerman "gets away with it", the dregs of black youth will riot... if Zimmerman "gets falsely convicted", certain elements of white society will "retaliate" (conveniently forgetting that Z is not white until after they have their fun)...

the judge just said the jury could consider a lesser charge of manslaughter which to me means it's 50/50 now he'll get convicted of something because clearly, he's not guilty of murder. If the jurors feel the outside pressure of race generated by the media and race hustlers, then they might go with manslaughter thinking sacrificing Zimmerman is a better alternative.

All I know is, if cities burn and people die, race hustlers such as Sharpton, Jackson (and even Starlifter and to some extent Sew on this forum) the media for talking up the 'Coon' comment when there was none, NBC news for editing the phone call to make it sound like Zimmerman brought up the fact he was black first when in fact he was answering the dispatchers question; all these people bear some responsibility for turning this into a referendum on race when it never was.

How would you like to be in his shoes today? anyone? he knows political pressure is part of the equation here. the jurors all know if he walks, bad stuffs gonna happen. they either hang him for something or watch all hell break loose. if i was on the jury, i hope i would have enough guts to cast an innocent vote IF, IF, IF, i truly believed him innocent based on facts & not allow threats from outside to force me to punish him,

all these people bear some responsibility for turning this into a referendum on race when it never was.

Heard an interesting comment yesterday:

What if the prosecuting attorney's closing argument is simply. "Ladies of the jury, please remember that as soon as you render your verdict, your names, addresses, and the names and addresses of all your family members will be made public. Please consider that before you decide."

Bingo - convicted.

I think it's pretty plain that the judge here wants a conviction - on SOMETHING, even if the jury won't go for murder 2nd. Pay attention to what lesser charges she allows the jury to consider, and what her instructions to the jury are. If I'm right, the way she addresses the jury will let THAT cat out of the bag.
