Just watched a super Nova program on Doggie genetics,... and one abut an Egyptian Pharaoh...
Totally addicted to, Call the Midwife, and Doc Martin...
Downton Abbey,... and Mr. Selfridge....
Frontline.... always fascinating,... even when I didn't have any interest in the topic beforehand....

Great stuff.... as opposed to, American Idol, Dance with Stupid,.. and Why aren't I famous Yet?....

PBS seems to be the only channel preventing us from becoming the 'tard nation...
Probably fighting a loosing battle...
Stupid always wins... because it's so easy...

I like the local -2 PBS station. Can catch European and Japanese news broadcasts to balance out the main stream media biases.

Lisa likes So You Think You Can Dance, which I'm not watching after the audience votes sent home a cute, talented, well trained, easy on the eyes, intelligent, did I mention cute and easy on the eyes, proper dancer... and kept a bottom heavy, bad attitude, no talent "hip-hop dancer" that looks/acts like she smelled something bad while giving head to a sour pickle blond...

I'll stop now, the rest of the statement would cause Serow and Star to keel over dead... I don't exactly approve of "mingling"...

Others, not so much. ION Life has a decent one as well. We got rid of DirecTV and went back to antenna. Why pay for 95% of the programming being trash we don't watch?

I remember when TV was free. Ted Turner screwed that up. Had great shows like Red Skelton, I love Lucy,Smothers Brothers, Laugh In, Johnny Carson, Bill Cosby, D!ck Clark, Andy Griffith. Now its stupid reality shows that are nowhere close to real. I watch more news now than anything. That's a habit I need to break. Most of the time it just pisses me off.

Got rid of the bloody TV and have not missed it yet. Utter trash, if I wanted to watch Snooki, Kim Kardashit, and Lindsay Lohan, I'd come here ... That's why we got Dane, JOG and webby for. Grin

Bah.. I watch very little TV, though my wife does.... ugggggggg The Food network........

If I do get on.. I hit:
History Channel
Discovery Channel
Animal Planet
PBS

in that order. oh,, and SCIFI... but they have a lot shows not worth my time.

Radio: Click and Clack

Another PBS show I miss The Red Green Show, and the brit one about sales people... I forget the name now.

I caught a commercial for DVD's of Johnny Carson, it was an interview with George Burns... gawd that was SOOOOO funny.. I laughed more in that 30 seconds than at anything on TV for the past 6 months.
