Criminal background check for everyone @ every sale. The sale will be completed by tying the owner to the gun via serial number.
Valid gun licence and ownership proof of that type of gun needed to purchase ammo.
And Limit of 10 or 20 per day (I think that could slow down a psycho) maybe not.
The bans of this or that is garbage in 1 city and not in another 100 miles away. Same rules nationwide.

I think all states should be the same and the right to carry should be legal across state lines I'm fine with gunlaws as they are now as long as they have a background check. A complete overhaul of the laws wouldn't hurt . Make things simple, just have a background check. Save money on taxes and we all know a criminal can get a gun if he wants to,just cant buy a new one. Illinois (Thank God) just made carrying legal. Illinois Congress outvoted the govenors veto.We'll see what happens in the gun murder capitol of the world Chicago. These people more than deserve a shot at protecting theirselves and family. I'll be willing to bet the crime rate drops. They don't have a police force. Average response time is 58 minutes.
