2004 savage - mid controls

i have the chance to pick up a 2004 savage 650 at a good price. i rode a nighthawk about ten years back and liked the riding position. this bike has forward controls and i'm not sure i'm going to like the riding position ( haven't rode bike yet ).

i was wondering if it is possible to update the bike from forward controls to mid controls?

The "cruiser" riding position is nice......after you ride it for a little while. The first time I rode one it was a bit weird at first - as I had always rode dual sports or enduros or motocross or trials bikes.

You can buy rear sets from RYCA and they are easy....the mid sets can be done....but you will have to do it yourself. I believe Jiggyfly is one who has made his own.
