To say it will provide jobs, etc, fine, it will do that at any location.

I can't imagine why they would want to rid the historical significance in doing so, yes, its an ugly past, but so are many battlefields, and other locations where heartache plays a very important part of remembrance....

Really? Is there nowhere else to build? Some things should be left alone,, if something came along that was just super important that would be a real benefit to the city,, maybe,, but to play baseball? Really? Chasing the almighty dollar that way just isnt okay, IMO. & yea, jobs, during construction,, big Whoop... when its built it will be just another tax burden for maintenance,.The owners will get waivers & not pay taxes & the very people who they SAY will benefit will be on the hook, wait & see.. I hope it gets tossed aside,,
