Looks great ! I wish I had this when i was starting out.
In any case my only comment would be to have a bit more light to see everything and perhaps mount your camera somewhere steady.

Since its a bit awkward working on the carb like so, I usually take the extra step of removing the seat, top carb cover, and battery top cover so I can rotate carb a bit.

Gender:	Re: Changing out the jets without dropping the car Reply #2 - 05/22/14 at 15:10:40 Yeah, sorry about my camera skill, I tried my best with what I have I remove the seat only to get to the top of the carb, when the seat is removed all you have to do is pull the carb out of the cylinder a bit and you can then dismount the top of the carb to get to the needle. Lot less work

At 1st you call it a main pilot jet... its just a main jet.

Here's some tips for you 1st timers:
1st time those screws are removed you'll want to use pen oil and/or take the carb out to use a impact driver, they come factory Godzilla glued.
My bat box sits under the carb and I can't just drop the bowl.
I put a strap around the bat box and pull it backwards to clear the bowl.
And typically, I break all the screws loose 1st before pulling them all the way out. If you have trouble with 1... the last one usually and have to go a different route, it's easier to retighten all the screws.
and a small makeup mirror is handy to have to see the jets from the bottom.

I tried this method today jetting my 98. The battery box was wedging the bowl in. Prying the battery box back with a tire iron, freed the bowl.

As you all are probably aware, the first duty of all small motorcycle parts is to escape, so I strategically positioned neodymium "guards" along the escape routes that the screws might take.

I bought my 2011 S40 a few months ago and came with a Jardine pipe and backfired a lot. I reduced a little adjusting the idle screw but still needs more tuning Now thanks to you I know how easy it could be.
