Where do these go? (Read 77 times)

Reply #1 - 06/17/14 at 17:21:46 The parts list shows a small pin and spring associated with the balancer shaft. I've never seen it. What all did you take apart? Did you split the cases? I'm certain someone here can help you, especially if they know what you had apart.

Reply #2 - 06/17/14 at 17:29:37 I haven't split the main case, but both side covers are off as well as the little shifter mechanism cover. The valve cover, head, and piston cylinder are off as well, but I'm pretty sure they didn't come out of there.

Reply #3 - 06/17/14 at 17:43:48 In the shifter mechanism there is a shifter pawl and a spring, maybe two of them. They work with the little ratchet type thing actuated by the shift lever. Take a look at a parts diagram at bike bandit or a place like that. It would be under transmission/shifter.

I have used it alot trying to identifying parts after taking something part on my bike. I always have extra parts when I work on something. Also gives you close idea to what these parts cost.
