Post-First-Time-Doing Twisties Footpeg Question
09/07/14 at 16:46:29
Went up to Bear mountain for my first shot at some twisties. Great fun! Beautiful morning and no one else on the roads.
I found I was hesitant to lean because as far as I can tell, the pegs don't bend towards me. Are they supposed to? Should I replace them with these:

If your pegs are stock, they flex upwards when they hit the road.

So I'm guessing it's fair to say the reason they're not is that they're bent and need replacing?

they don't willingly bend, they'll go up but it'll compress the rubber.

The mounting bolts seem to hit pavement before the pegs anyway ...
EDIT: maybe the peg just flexes enough that the bolts get SCRAPED up first?

Bear mountain huh? I was up there a few weeks ago, except on foot hiking. Funny how many angles we can see the same terrain from.
