I've tried a breaker bar (and picked the bike up off the lift!) and also an air impact gun and no joy. It's on there super tight! 58-66 ft/lbs my foot!

My memory says it is normally threaded.

A friend and I were trying to get a 1/2 shaft out of a Honda. We ruined a breaker bar,tried welding a socket on something,pipe wrench,cheater bar,jumping on it,,no joy.. the 1/2" Ingersoll didn't have a hope. I finally went and rented a 3/4" impact. Yes,someone went stupid. I have no idea what you're going to find once you get it off.Good luck,dude.

You can try and soak it overnight. Perhaps it was put on cross threaded. You may just have to destroy it to get it off and buy a new one.

Don't forget to hold the other end of the axle so it doesn't rotate.
