I looked through your blog....and I agree with the brake stop flimsiness.  The one you made should work fine - but a piece of rubber tubing over the bolt threads and it will soften the pedal return and eliminate the "click" noise when the brake pedal hits the stop.

Yep, already did that. Added an extra nut to it too to keep it from backing out. Smiley

Thanks! Working on the baffles for the exhaust right now. Will be welding some bracketry together for the brake switch in a bit. Cool

Got the muffler done and installed. Made a bracket for the brake switch and will wire it in the next few days. Started with the bondo on the tank. Never used bondo before. Need to wire the strobes, get the side covers on, seal the tank and I'll be good to go! Cool

Tested the brake switch and promptly blew the back off of it, launching the spring to somewhere in the garage! On to plan #2.......

Look at the bulb.
Inside the socket.
Look at the wires

It wasn't an electrical explosion, just the spring popped the back off. Trying something tomorrow with the stock switch. I have another switch on order that, if my 2nd switch idea doesn't work, I'll try it. If not, I'll be using it on my Volksrod project. Cool

Got the brake switch mounted and it worked first time out! Didn't even have to adjust it! Working on the extra brake lights now..... Cool

Tank is sealed. Put it on the bike and set everything up. Will put the side panels on later. Here is a before and after!
