Posting You Tube Vidoes

Everyone once in a while I come across a nice video that would be good to post. I can never get it to work correctly. What am I doing wrong?

I start with the insert media, then I go and copy the URL video address and paste it in between the brackets. When I go to preview or post, nothing is there? If you can offer some insight that would be appreciated, thanks.

When you copy the link on Youtube....there will be a https: in the link.

When you past that between the media brackets....go in an eliminate the "s" and only paste the http:

You should also insert the link address directly in your post. Some computers just won't open the media links.

I have modified your post to show you what your post should look like. You can open your post using "modify" to see what is inside.

Hello Dave,

I am well acquainted with the correct procedure to link media, and have done so for years, but... listen to this !

Ever since I upgradede to Windows 10 (no I didn't ! The system Borged itself into Windows 10 !!!)
all I get is big grey boxes with the reading "you need a plugin to see this"

Shocked

Not even a mere link I can click, just a big grey box.

Exactly what plugin am I missing ?
