Exact dimensions of the air intake tube - 02 ls650

Looking for assistance getting the exact measurements of the ends/openings on a stock air intake boot on a 2002 ls650 Savage. I currently dont have a boot or airbox to measure. This is for finding the right boot for the air box removal / cone filter mod.
Thanks Savages!

I have a boot I can send you. I have no use for it.

Very kind of you to offer, Gary! Im actually going to build out a custom aluminum intake, so i wont need a stock boot. Just not sure the dimensions.

What you really want to know....is the OD of the carb flange.
I believe it is 57.5 mm.

Thank you, Dave! How about the OD of the airbox flange?

I would love one that would be easier to put back together. I always have so many issues putting the carb back in and the the air boot tube thing.

I don't know....I can't access that information while I am at work and I will be here until late tonight. I got the 57.5mm from the Mikuni website, as the VM carb has the same diameter inlet as the stock carb.

You could eliminate the airbox and replace it with a K&N type filter.

True, but concerned about riding in the rain. I often ride rain or shine everyday.
