Ooops I did it again

hi, I've got an oil leak problem which I hope is the rubber bung cylinder head one ( fairly simple to fix - fingers crossed ), so I'm going to sort it out but the manual recommends three bond 1216, but I can't find any here in the UK would 3bond 1215 or 1104 neo gasket sealant be any good or if not could someone recommend the right stuff hopefully available in Britain, cheers evryone

Draw the headcover outline on cardboard, draw a circle and slice where every bolt goes, know how many hafta come out before you start. One hasta be IN before it slips in place, IIRC, and then there's the upside down one,, stuff to know before you go...
Just take your time. Might wanna check the cam chain.
You're gonna be in the neighborhood...sure would be a lousy deal to need to go back in 4 months..

Well. I don't know how that got there or how to get rid of it..Sorry,guys, I tried.

Let it leak, adds to the vintage flavor of the antiquated design. When the oil turns into macadam, break out the carburetor cleaner and a soft bristle brush.

Real bike engines leaked. Harley Davidson, Indian, Enfield, Triumph, Norton, even Brough Superior. Helps preserve the lower frame rails...

WD is right (as usual), the oil will actually preserve parts.

Time spent cleaning is riding time wasted. A dirty bike is a ridden bike is a well loved bike. Unless you have winter down time, then, a seasonal deep cleaning makes sense. Bikes in an area that never see cold and snow, rarely see rain? Best be some kind of filthy...

To me it is part of the maintenance. I do appreciate those that can just ride and not worry about how their bike shines.....I just can't do it.
