Just got an email from a couple of buddies who swear I should look at Rick Perry. Jog's from Texas so I'm guessing he'll have an opinion....

I know it will never happen and I'm not suggesting any legislation, but I wish all the parties would get together and say no presidential election activities until one year before election. Who needs a two year election run? But there's too much money and power at stake...

I can't see TPTB giving Rand much more of a chance than they did his father. He can't garner the support of his own party. I remember the one primary debate in which they have Ron a whole 45 seconds to speak out of the entire hour.

I can't say I know a whole lot about Scott Walker. Although, I read he didn't finish college? Huh

It is more of a "right of passage". Many if not all of America's elite attend an ivy league schools. They are groomed from day 1 and they forming relationships which will last throughout their careers. Relationships which are crucial to achieve the highest positions. It's not the fact he didn't finish, many of us would like a guy like him in that position. I don't believe TPTB will allow that to happen, he's not one of them or part of the club.

I wasn't saying Hopey-change went for liberal arts. If he got a law degree from Harvard then it was a waste of money seeing the Supreme Court rules against him pretty regular.

If it wasn't for John Roberts, Obamacare would have been dead a few years ago instead of screwing up everything now.

In fact, now that I think about it, didn't Roberts basically say two things about obamacare as far as why he ruled it constitutional. 1) he said the individual mandate was, despite what Hopey claimed, a tax and 2) he basically said if the country is stupid enough to elect an idiot, it's not the supreme court's job to bail them out
