every bike is different.
take what you got and measure.

What size tire is on it?
How much bigger is the one you want?
What kinda gap between tire and obstructions?
Fat tires have been known to rub bolts in the fender.

Oh, whew...ok! I thought you were trying to mount a truck rim. I've heard crazier things though!  

I'm currently running:
150/90-15
25.63" in diameter.
I've got about 3/4" clearance.

So I'd say your tyre would go on my bike, perhaps 1/2" of clearance? Getting pretty tight. Like others say the swingarms probably vary a bit - I don't think they're laser cut.  
At a guess 1/4" clearance difference between bikes?

I am going to go 17" at the back eventually as I want to get away from the cruiser look and am happy enough with 17" to not bollocks around cutting the swing arm. When current set of tyres are done I'm gonna get the back wheel respoked 17" and run 120/90-17 which are 25.5" so will fit fine.

Pretty nice for a scrambler/flat tracker type. Not pure cafe but a bit different is good in my book.

My current tyres may last a while though the pace my build is taking...

I'm in Denmark. Am still planning things out, so when I do, things slots together nicely without too many hiccups - Sticking with stock for the most part, adding and subtracting in the right places to make the most difference. If you ask me the Savage is a well designed bike with loads of build potential if you have an unconventional eye.
Am going for a scrambler/tracker type look hence the 17" rear and 19" for the most dual sport tire choices. A 120/90 or 130/80 should look and feel more planted than your 'run of the mill' 18" cafe racer rear, plus the larger front should skip nicely over the rough stuff

I'm planning on turning up at "Wheels and Waves", south of France/Spanish border next year.
I recon a savage scrambler would give these two a run for their money (for 30 metres anyway):
