I think I would just watch eBay or this forum for a donor carb....one that has a good diaphragm - but has a screwed up idle mix screw that is not salvageable. Not sure what caused the hole - but I really can't see that you can reliable fix a hole in the carb diaphragm .

There are companies that make very affordable aftermarket diaphragm kits for popular CV carbs - do any popular bikes use a similar sized Mikuni carb that may have a matching diaphragm?

Reply #19 - 03/20/17 at 15:12:30 The diaphragm is just rubber, so it's a no load situation. any fabric will do, just completely coat with pliobond. We use a lot of uncured fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber here. But would dictate making a mold. I could make a conical mold, but anything else would require 3d cnc work.
