Fork (tool) bags interfere with air flow?
11/14/15 at 12:53:41
Probably making a mountain out of a molehill, but ...
I was looking at a fork (or tool) bag that is 10" W x 4" D x 6" H. Then I began to think that since the bag extends from the headlight down 6" (but still somewhat above the top of the front fender), maybe it would cut off some of the airflow to the engine for cooling.
So, although this is a very subjective question, I was wondering from any of you, could this hamper some of the airflow to the S40 air cooled engine?
Also, I would be interested in getting any fork bag brand and model names you might like.
Thanks for your help.

I've had one for years and haven't had any issues other than it scratched / rubbed the surface where it was attached to.
I think this is the one I have.

You'll be fine. Here's my fork bag. I really like it. I removed the cross and put on a skull and crossbones. I have the whole set...skull and crossbones all around too.

Sounds like there is enough airflow to keep things cool. Will be looking at your suggested tool bag ideas.
Thanks,
