no, Clinton is pretty good at it, she's been doing it for her whole life, Bernie does it from time to time, but not nearly as much as others,

Trump had the hang of it, but I think he's losing it, Christie definitely did it, Rubio does it pretty well, Carson doesn't do it well at all, Kasich does it, but only to walls, Cruz takes it a step further and pays for direct mail flyers about it

I don't think it either helps or hurts Trump's chances, mostly because I don't really think Trump needs that kind of help. It could be extraordinarily helpful to Christie though, if he has any ambitions beyond remaining the governor of NJ. I can see Trump -assuming he is elected - offering Christie the Attorney General post.

I doubt that picking him for VP is in the cards. That would be more likely to hurt than help. In fact, should Trump become the republican candidate, I'd be surprised if his VP pick was anyone that was or is still vying for the nomination.
