I thought it was windy!

I went for a short ride Sunday late morning. It was fun but it sure felt like the wind was blowing hard. I was being pushed all over. After the ride I was going to let the bike cool off and then work on it a bit. Well, looks like it really was windy. Instead of working on the bike, I had to do some clean up.

Was it the "shutdown blast" that did in the fence?

It's not windy till the neighbors start swapping fences or backyard equipment.

That sucks is correct. My son and I cleaned it all up and went to home depot to buy what we need to repair it. So fence repair is what is on the schedule for this weekend. Of course, now it appears it is going to rain this weekend.

Wind?
I think I see the culprit. Neighbor kids kicked their ball into your fence and knocked it over.

How are you going to repair that?

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

What actually broke is the posts that go into the ground. I disconnected the picket sections and hopefully I will be able to reinstall these sections onto the new posts with a minimum of new pickets. That is the plan anyway. It is 70 feet of fence and just with the limited supplies I bought the expense is already at $150.00. So the more I can salvage, the better.

That's what I thought you would need to do. IF the posts were set in concrete before, I don't know if that would be a:
Plus: dig out the old concrete and you already have a hole
Minus: Can't dig out the old concrete, have to dig new holes.
or
Posts were not set in concrete. How big a pain to dig the new holes through the rotted posts?
Kinda curious how it all comes out, as I have a similar situation.

As an old farm boy; I can tell you that the posts rotted at ground level and that part on the ground is still solid and needs dug out. The panels will have to go up the second time same as the first time or there'll be headaches galore.
