The original report says 35 to 50 MPH wind and rain might have been a factor in this crash.
No, look at the video, the plane was NOT on a normal glide path to land, and it was ALREADY on fire. The third frame down, a black and white video surveillance camera captured it as it entered its field of surveillance.

That plane was made here in the Pudget Sound and lands in those conditions daily without any real concern......
