You know the lower miles usually equates to less time for the previous owner to "SCREW-THINGS-UP" .

I'm on my second Savage/S-40 now. I learned a few lessons with the first one.
1. when the bike warms up is the idle speed at or above 1000 rpm. ? oil circulation .
2. Some of the guys here have got over 50,000 miles with no problems , but still the lower miles on it before you get it the better. One feller here has over 150,000 miles on the same bike and motor.
3. I bought a 05 in 2013 for $1750.oo . with about 6000 miles. and a wore out rear tire. The tire wore out in 6000 miles says "I've been ridden from red light to red light a lot

" Tire should last +-9,000 miles.
3. bikes with windshields and bags might have been ridden easier , or for "commuting"
Thats all I can think on now !
